Dare to be Dumbo
As promised here is the first round of advertising for the March Program/Event for the Dancing on Wheels dance troupe!
This is an invitation to Elementary and Middle School students. (invitations will be extended to all of Ashland County public and Private schools to participate) and Community Members with Special Needs Children and Adults.
The program is promoting “Daring to be Dumbo” This reimagining of the original story that is set in a contemporary Junior High School..., where Dumbo is now a thirteen year old girl who is bullied and exemplifies turning differences from weakness into strength through the love of family, friends, and ultimately oneself.
If dance is an expression of the human spirit, then it is best expressed by people of all abilities. That is the fundamental belief behind the Dancing Wheels Company & School.
Dale Roy students have been actively engaged in the spirit of dance with Opus II (The local dance studio in Ashland) in their preparation for this event.
